The selection of Hall opening type open-loop current and voltage sensor for engineering

The so-called engineering current/voltage transmitter refers to the output standard signal, the subsequent MCU for PLC, data acquisition card, motion control card and other programmable controllers.

Many projects in the tender time are the general contractor package together. But for the employer, many times it is more about space, mechanical and functional requirements. The detailed description is relatively few. When the bidding is completed, a lot of equipment and parts are subcontracted and purchased. Because the description of the general contract document is not detailed enough, a lot of problems are brought about.

As the integrator of the equipment, of course, it is very clear, but when the construction period is short, the integrator is overwhelmed. Without supplementary detailed documentation, the procurement of parts becomes a big problem, especially for purely passive devices such as current/voltage transmitters.

Current/voltage transmitter is not an independent device, but it is the acquisition medium between devices, a very important part. Often the buyer is very anxious, do not know how to describe the specific parameters of the current/voltage transmitter. As a manufacturer, we must make clear the supply voltage, rated current or voltage, current, voltage characteristics, AC or DC, peak current, output signal requirements, basic requirements for installation and so on.

Relative to the requirements of the installation, the tender will generally have a description, but the absence or incomplete electrical parameters to the purchaser brings great trouble.

We recommend a convenient method of purchasing in the absence of confirmation of current or voltage parameters and quality.

True RMS current/voltage transmitter.

Generally, MANUFACTURERS WHO HAVE done inverter MATCHING are familiar with the advantages of TRUE RMS TRANSMITTERS, but the premise is TRUE RMS current and voltage transmitters based on Hall current sensors. Common TRUE RMS transmitters are not described in this paper.

The true RMS current and voltage transmitter based on hall's principle can output standard acquisition signals regardless of whether the measured current is ac, dc, pulsating or high frequency (less than 6KHZ).

The standard signal is generally 4-20mA; 0 to 5 v. 0 to 10 v; 0-20 mA these kinds. However, although the input requirements of programmable controller are very different, 4-20MA is a universal standard.

Therefore, in the case that the purchaser is unable to obtain the specific parameters of the engineering transmitter, it is foolproof to directly purchase the true RMS current/voltage transmitter. In any case, there will be no procurement error. The only possibility is a slight increase in cost caused by high configuration, which is negligible relative to the procurement error, compared with the engineering project, but at the same time, the high precision and high quality acquisition brought by high configuration are worth it.
